The final of the National Outdoor League was ran last Saturday by the Northern Ireland Tug of War Association, in what was a first all island partnership between the ITOWA and NITOWA. It was hosted by the Country Club at the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum, in the centre of Enniskillen, beside Lough Erne. The fixtures for this years National Indoor Championship Series have been added to the Fixtures & Events page. Some venues are yet to be finalised, but will be updated once confirmed. Ladies and youths fixtures are yet to be confirmed.
Following a unanimous decision by the National Executive Committee, the following rule is now in place from today, 16/07/2017:
“With immediate effect, no club member may affiliate to a new club, or move to an existing club, that is outside of the province that the club member is permanently resident in”
This change will have no affect on club members who are already affiliated to a club from outside of their province. They will be still able to continue on with their current club indefinitely.
An Tochar GAA Grounds in Ballinastoe, Co. Wicklow was the venue at last Sunday’s 680kg Championship, as the local Ballinastoe club hosted Round 3 of the 2017 National Outdoor Series.

A meeting of the Indoor Sub-Committee will be held this Sunday, the 2nd of July, at 12.00pm in the Tullamore Court Hotel. All Clubs looking to take part in this years Indoor National competitions should send 1 representative to attend. Fixtures and other competition related issues will be discussed and decided. A National Ladies and Youths training day will be held this Sunday, the 2nd of July, at Gratton Og GAA Grounds, Stonepark, Co. Longford from 11am. Any youths who have not already been involved in the youth training days, but are interested in making the Panel for this years GENSB tournament, should attend this Sunday. This years GENSB will be held on August 26th in Retie, Belgium.
