The Aura Arena is a state of the art facility and will host the event. The Aura arena has a fully equipped gymnasium, hot and cold sauna, heated indoor swimming pool, conference and meeting rooms, with excellent parking space.

The indoor arena measures 45×23 mt when fully seated. The seating capacity is for 800 people.

  • Juniors pullers will have a reduction of € 125 per person.
  • Additional night’s accommodation are available to arrive prior or post Championships: costs are per person per night: €110 (sharing) and €150 (single).
  • Most twin rooms have a double (queen size) bed and a single bed. Standard they are booked for 2 persons but on request they can be used for 3 persons as well.

All packages include Airport transport, dinner,  bed & breakfast and transport from your hotel to the competition hall.

20% of accommodation costs will have to be paid within 14 days after invoice date.
Remaining costs will have to be paid in full before the 1st of January 2020.
If booking is done after the 1st of January 2020 all costs will have to be paid immediately after receipt of invoice.
These costs are not refundable.

Late bookings (made after January 15th 2020) will incur a 10% surcharge in all quoted rates.

Book before January 1st to make sure you have a room (as long as the hotels aren’t already fully booked).

Payments can be done by international bank transfer or all major credit cards.

All bedrooms will be locked for extra cost charges unless you present your credit card a reception and arrange a pre-installed authorisation of € 200 onto the card. This can only be done after check-in.

The following hotels are being used for the championships:

  4. Dillons

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION:

The closest international airport are in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. Both around 2 hrs drive to Letterkenny. Transport can be arranged to from Dublin, Ireland, this will be a 3 hrs drive through Northern-Ireland.

For countries who need visa to travel to Ireland and fly to Belfast: you might need UK visa as well. Please check this. We can arrange transport from Dublin and drive around Northern Ireland as well.

The costs included in the accomodation package for transport are based on combination groups per bus on arrival days Tuesday the 18th of February 2020 and Wednesday 19th of February 2020; departure day Monday the 24th of February 2020.

Transport on other days or for individuals can be arranged but will be charged to the group or individual.

Individuals can book the transport as well and will be added to a group. If group transport is not possible individual transport can be arranged, the extra costs will be charged to the individual.

Following information is required: Date, time and airport of arrival and flight number,
date, time and airport of departure and flight number;
contact name and mobile number for each group and individual.

Airport transport will only be provided for those who book accommodation through the official World Championships accommodation provider.

If you require Visa to enter Ireland please do so in time.

The type of visa which applicants should apply for will depend on the
reason for travel. Further information in relation to the visa application

ACCREDITATION AND TEAM ENTRIES:

Everyone booking accommodation through the official World Indoor Championships provider has to accredit her/himself. Even if you are not a puller.

Everyone who has accredited her/himself and did NOT book accommodation throught the official World Indoor Championships will have to pay € 125.

The link for accreditation will be HERE in due time. The link will be closed the 13th of February 2020 so make sure to do your accreditation in time.

Accreditations that have to be made at the office will cost an additional € 30.

When doing your accreditation please be sure that your data is correct and do it only once. You will most likely NOT receive a confirmation.
Upload a recent passport photo, that means a photo like on your passport or ID (so only your head/face is on it) and NOT OF YOUR ENTIRE PASSPORT OR ID!

If you use an accreditation of the previous event please check your data especcially your passport or ID number. Change it if you have a new passport or ID since the previous event. And bring the same passport or ID with you as you entered.

Please enter your club only once except if you have more than one team in the same weight category. Then you enter your club again and add B to the name.

The entryfee for clubteams is € 80 per team.

National team entries will be published after closing date. This date still has to be determined. The secretary general of TWIF will send an entry form to all TWIF representatives. National teams are free of charge.
