St Pats overcame Cuan Rithe in straight ends in the first semi final to qualify for the final. The second semi final between Clonmany & Mountain View was a very entertaining match-up with Mountain View taking the first end. The Clonmany lads showed great determination to come back and book a place in the final after a third and deciding end. The final between Clonmany and St Pats was a reasonably comfortable contest for St Pats who once again showed their superiority over their rivals this season with a straight end victory.
Mountain View defeated Cuan Rithe to win the bronze medal. The teams who qualified for the Div 2 final were Gort na Cloiche and Stapeltons. Stapeltons were on a high after their victory in the 720kg two weeks ago but it was the GnaC team who produced a great performance to overcome Stapeltons with a straight end victory and win the gold medal.
